The postgraduate students at the Faculty become conversant with their field of research and create new scientific knowledge. They may, however, also assume a professional orientation and focus on developing their professional expertise.
Doctoral students participate in the activities of Faculty research groups and in a wide range of domestic and international researcher networks.
The research groups of the Faculty focus on the study of human growth and development, and education and schooling in the changing globalized world and environment especially from the perspective of Northernness.
